Ever wonder how you can change up those pork chops and get out of the dog house at the same time? Ever wanted to make a sauce with bourbon? Well, cheers to bourbon and you getting out of the dog house with this!

Ingredients:
2 center cut, bone-in, pork chops
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 tablespoon unsalted butter
1/4 cup bourbon
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 tablespoons grain mustard
2 tablespoons heavy cream
salt and pepper
Step 1:
Preheat a large skillet over medium heat. Season one side of the chops with salt and pepper.

Step 2:
Add the oil to the skillet. Add the chops season side down.

Step 3:
Cook for 4 minutes then season the top side of the chops with salt and pepper. Add the butter and cook for another minute.

Step 4:
Turn the chops over.

Step 5:
Continue cooking until thermometer registers 130 – 135 degrees–about 5 minutes more. Transfer the chops to a plate, tent with foil.

Step 6:
Turn off the heat for the skillet the chops just cooked in. Add the bourbon.

Step 7:
Turn the heat back on and let reduce by half. Add the chicken broth and bring to simmer for 3 minutes.

Step 8:
Whisk in the mustard and cream. Simmer for another 2 -3 minutes.

Step 9:
Time to plate!
